I agree. I actually like this firmware compared to the stock DM-32 firmware.
I've found two major issues:
The radio will occasionally freeze up; turning the radio off doesn't turn it off. You have to pull the battery and re-start ,.
The radio does not send DPL codes on transmit (RX is okay). So any local repeaters using DPL cannot be accessed. CTCSS works fine.
I hope the developer reads this forum. I would really like to see this new firmware continue to evolve.

Roger's answer was to send me back to this website. He apparently has nothing to do with the OpenDM32, which is the DM32 version of OpenGD77.

I'm trying to load firmware .bin file "OpenGD77_DM32_20260711.bin". Just opening the .bin file in the OpenGD77 CPS cause the CPS to freeze. The CPS is version E2026.7.13.01.
It is NOT the programming cable, because it happens even if the cable isn't plugged in.
EDIT: I tried the setup on a different PC, and it works fine. So I'm guessing there's some sort of conflict somewhere.

How is this firmware improved over the stock firmware? Are there any added features not in the stock firmware?

Okay, I would have liked to be able to change the background from black to white by way of a menu. Without the ability to do this, I don't understand the point of the "RGB" vs. the "BGR" selection. With either selection, it is difficult to select the channel and text colors I want. Sometimes selecting RGB or BGR still doesn't come up with the color I expect. Very confusing to me.

I just updated from 048 to 049. I followed the .pdf instructions linked above.
When I hold the two lower buttons and turn the radio on for the reset, a message appears that says "Do Not Reset!". Why?
Also, when I go to display settings, whether I select RGB or BGR, the background is still always white. Only the font colors change.

Per my post #444 above: The firmware for the Alinco DJ-X100T does not have a .bin file. So where else might I look for the band limits?
