I need some help with a bricked DM32UV wont enter firmware update mode , wont reset , cant do anything with the cps does not read the radio screen is totally black no display is there a way to flash this and revover it ??
please can someone attach any files i need to be able to recover this radio from the dead.

it killed the radio , wont switch on no didplay , wont reset , wont enter upgrade mode any way to fix it ? power is getting to the radio as i hear noise from the speaker it just wont boot or enter upgrade mode no  led is on any way to fix this or is it a complete brick ?

Disconnect the programming cable. Disconnect the battery from the radio for 1 minute, then reconnect it. And try turning it on.

Done all those procedures its dead left battery out for 5 minutes makes no difference tried everything cant even read in CPS connection fails

if i use the tool to read it from the website it will read the radio and flash it , but nothing else works

I want to know at what stage it broke, during the backup copy reading stage? Or were you recording something into the radio?

i went to this website https://github.com/M7OCM/DM-32UV/tree/DM-32UV-Firmware-(most-common)

got the DM32_Fanti_049_20251106.bin firmware and flashed the radio using the tool thats also on that page after 100% i switched the radio off , to reset the radio and nothing it was dead

that tool on that page is the only thing that will read/write the radio at the moment , but if i flash it again it still does nothing , wont boot up , so the radio is a brick if it cant be bought back to life i will just take it outside and shoot the shit out of it for target practice

The UV008 program is designed to work with full 25Q16 and 25Q128 flash memory images! It cannot be used to update the DM-32 firmware!
Charge the battery, make a backup copy of 25Q16 using UV008 and send it to my email ra4fhe@yandex.ru
The transceiver can be resurrected

I received your image in the mail, but the ALPU code is corrupted. I created an image of the 25Q16 flash memory with firmware 01.01.049 no ALPU.

Report the results...

I can now get the radio to go into update mode , the green led comes on and i can flash using the CPS
