Roger's answer was to send me back to this website.  He apparently has nothing to do with the OpenDM32, which is the DM32 version of OpenGD77.

Информация для пользователей Baofeng BF-UV PRO 5RH 25, 32, 29, 36 и тд

В радиотракте многих трансиверов линейки Baofeng BF-UV PRO используется RF чип FD6818, данный чип снят с производства и на смену ему устанавливается FD6818B.
У данных чипов отличаются регистры управления! Они не совместимы.
Опасность заключается в том что, если прошить трансивер с чипом FD6818B прошивкой для FD6818 он превращается в "тыкву", отсутствует приём и передача!
Найти в сети прошивку для BF-UV PRO серии практически не возможно! На сайте Baofeng обновлений обычно нет

Яркий пример произошёл недавно в ветке http://infotex58.ru/forum/index.php?topic=1163.0 в итоге оказалось что коллега прошил трансивер прошивкой с сайта Баофенг https://baofeng.s3.amazonaws.com/Baofeng_UV-25_Plus_Firware_Update_Guide_20250526.zip, а RF чип у него FD6818B чего он и не мог знать пока не разобрал трансивер. 

Настоятельно рекомендую не обновлять прошивку для CPU трансивера если у вас нет 100% уверености что прошивка именно для вашей версии RF чипа!

PS: Если у Вас есть какие либо прошивки CPU для серии BF-UV PRO можете сбрасывать в эту ветку форума

How is this firmware improved over the stock firmware?  Are there any added features not in the stock firmware?

I couldn't even program the DM-32 until after switching to this firmware because the factory/stock CPS and firmware were extremely buggy.

OpenGD77 was originally created for the Radioddity GD-77 but also ported to a few Baofeng handsets.  Some clubs in my area have produced codeplugs of all of the analog and DMR repeaters in the region, specifically using Open GD77 because of the simplicity and flexibility over other codeplugs.

I'm trying to load firmware .bin file "OpenGD77_DM32_20260711.bin".  Just opening the .bin file in the OpenGD77 CPS cause the CPS to freeze.  The CPS is version E2026.7.13.01.

It is NOT the programming cable, because it happens even if the cable isn't plugged in.

EDIT: I tried the setup on a different PC, and it works fine.  So I'm guessing there's some sort of conflict somewhere.

Report this bug in the OpenGD77 forum, not here. They handle the CPS.

Obviously not used a GD77 radio before , much better than a stock firmware dm32uv the radio is absolute junk without this new OpemDM32 it makes the radio so much better in a lot of ways

Good day, I suggest you read the entire discussion, there are only 10 pages so far.
But TL;DR: This build is going to be similar to the OpenGD77 project, but for the DM-32UV, and possibly for any HR_C7000 type radios.
