Baofeng DM-32

I just updated from 048 to 049.  I followed the .pdf instructions linked above. 

When I hold the two lower buttons and turn the radio on for the reset, a message appears that says "Do Not Reset!".  Why?

Also, when I go to display settings, whether I select RGB or BGR, the background is still always white.  Only the font colors change.

Yes, that's how it should be. Initially, the background is black, after inversion it can only become white 

Okay, I would have liked to be able to change the background from black to white by way of a menu.  Without the ability to do this, I don't understand the point of the "RGB" vs. the "BGR" selection.  With either selection, it is difficult to select the channel and text colors I want.  Sometimes selecting RGB or BGR still doesn't come up with the color I expect.  Very confusing to me.
